Harrison Sands

Basic salary up to £27,000 + Commission + Package including discounted gym membership, healthcare and incentive trips.

Harrison Sands have a great opportunity open within a Leeds based flagship office for an experienced permanent sector Recruitment Consultant to join our client’s Qualified Social Work team to recruit permanent social workers. This company have a great reputation within social care recruitment, supplying both temporary and permanent care staff to both private clients and to local authorities and are active on a number of PSLs as well as being a primary supplier to some organisations.

Due to volume of incoming vacancies within the permanent division we are now looking to hire a Recruitment Consultant to work in partnership with the two current permanent recruiters to attract and qualify social worker candidates, maintain relationships with existing customers and also further develop business by use of organic approaches to prospects. This is not a hard sell recruitment role. It is essential for our client that their consultants are able to build lasting relationships and can competently understand and react to client needs rather than be focused around quick wins and activity gain. We are looking for a consultant who understands the process of permanent recruitment, are able to conduct full interviews with candidates and work to understand their needs and requirements for long term career growth as well as understanding some of the technical complexities the roles they are recruiting for entail. This position will suit a Recruitment Consultant whose strengths lie within service delivery and relationship build. Although we are looking for driven individuals who are commission motivated this role will not be heavily KPId so applicants must be able to responsibly manage their own workload without stringent targets.

Our client will provide full sector training as well as ongoing career development plans, a basic salary of up to £27,000 dependent on experience plus a strong commission structure and benefits package. Our client’s working hours are 8.45am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Due to the volume of responses we typically receive, we will only be responding to short-listed candidates. All applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
