Harrison Sands are working exclusively with a Leeds based boutique recruitment agency specialising within an IT/ technology niche. Independently owned, this company have been trading for just over 2 years during which time they have established their-selves as a profitable and respected specialist within both mid to senior level contingent recruitment as well as retained search, supplying worldwide.

Our client supply exclusively on all of their assignments, and are now at a stage where they are able to expand their operations, both geographically with oversees offices and within other niche technology areas. They are looking to hire an Associate Director to work in partnership with the Managing Director to drive the business forward, focusing on client development at CEO/ MD/ HR Director level, pitch for retained assignments to feed back to the delivery team as well as maintaining the core relationships the business already have in place.

Our client have a primary focus on quality of service and collaborative working. They aren’t a numbers recruiter, focusing on vacancy fill rates rather than CV send-outs and interview levels. Typically placing staff at £10,000 plus fees it is essential that they not just fill jobs but truly add value to their client’s organisations. It is critical that the Associate Director hired shares these values and working practices and is able to sell a recruitment solution to clients rather than just filling vacancies.

The chosen Associate Director will be an established recruiter already, working in mid to senior or executive appointments, either placing permanent or senior level contract/ interim staff. We are open to current sector focus, although applicants from a professional service recruitment background are preferred (IT/ Finance/ Marketing/ Sales/ FMCG/ White Collar Engineering). All applicants must be able to demonstrate a high drive to succeed through their past work experience and be able to evidence selling recruitment solutions to senior stakeholders within their client base.

In return our client are offering a structured route to senior directorship, equity shares within the business, strong basic salary which we are open to discussions around as well as quarterly and yearly bonus incentive. Our client also offer flexible start and finish times, the ability to work from home when needed and are currently creating a flexible benefits package. The primary location for this role is in Leeds city centre.
