Associate Director- Nursing Recruitment, Birmingham
Basic salary up to £45,000 plus equity share options, branch based bonus and package (25 day’s annual leave/ private health and dental cover/ pension/ travel award incentives)

Do you have a knowledge of nursing recruitment within either the NHS or private sectors and are looking to capitalise on this knowledge while working for a respected NHS England and Wales supplier? Harrison Sands have a rare opportunity open with one of our clients, a health-care specialist agency who are looking to hire an Associate Director to expand their brand into the Midlands and open a branch in Birmingham city centre.
Our client are an established agency, with a solid background supplying to both NHS and private sector clients. Specialising in the placement of temporary qualified nurses this company already have nurses working from the Midlands and are a supplier of NHS England and Wales as well as being a PSL supplier to a number of national care home providers. With two UK locations already running, Birmingham will be the third and will have a number of client relationships ready for transfer into the office.
The role: The Associate Director will have equity shares in the business and will work in partnership with the group Managing Director to further develop nursing business within the Midlands, build a database of working nurses and recruit a small team of staff- Registered Nurse and Recruitment Consultants to manage and develop the workload for. The Associate Director will be a billing manager and will have full responsibility for branch P&L and all strategic business development and contract negotiations happening within the business.
Your background: The successful applicant must have a solid background of working within health-care recruitment, and have specific experience of nurse attraction and placement. Ideally working as a Branch Manager, Business Manager, Managing Consultant or Team Leader already you will have experience of managing and developing staff as well as being able to example business you have supplied to and won within your current role. We are open to health-care recruitment background, be it NHS or private or mixed but need an Associate Director who is confident liasing with both over the phone and face to face. As this is a client facing role all applicants must hold a valid UK driver’s licence and have a client facing manner and strong interpersonal skills.
